Product Description

Size Classification: One of the primary uses is to separate sand and gravel into different size fractions. For example, in the construction industry, gravel is often needed in specific size ranges for applications such as concrete production and road base construction. The rotary drum screen can separate gravel into sizes like 0 - 5 mm (sand), 5 - 10 mm, 10 - 20 mm, etc.
 

Removal of Impurities: It can also be used to remove unwanted materials such as twigs, leaves, and small stones from the sand and gravel. Working principle

The rotation of the drum causes the sand and gravel mixture to be lifted and then dropped. This tumbling action helps in the stratification of the material. The smaller particles, due to gravity, tend to fall through the openings in the drum as they are presented to the perforated surface during the rotation. Larger particles do not pass through and are conveyed to the end of the drum.
