Sudan has rich mineral resources, such as gold and copper. Small ball mills are used in small mines or beneficiation plants to grind and crush ores into fine powder for subsequent beneficiation and refining operations. For example, some small gold mining companies use small ball mills to grind gold ore to increase the gold extraction rate. Small ball mill is a kind of grinding equipment with relatively small capacity compared to large ball mills. In Sudan, small ball mills have a certain application market, mainly used for gold ore grinding and other operations.

Industrial production: It is widely used in various production industries such as cement, refractory materials, fertilizers, ferrous and non-ferrous metal beneficiation, and glass ceramics.

Small ball mill 900x1800 structure:
1. Cylindrical body: The main body is a horizontal cylindrical shape, which is made of steel plate. Inside the cylinder, there is a certain amount of grinding medium (usually steel balls or steel segments).
2. Feeding and discharging parts: It has a feeding device through which materials enter the mill, and a discharging grate at the end for the discharge of ground materials.
3. Drive system: Generally, it is driven by a motor through a transmission device such as a gear or belt to make the cylinder rotate.

4.Technical parameters: Common technical parameters of small ball mills include parameters such as cylinder diameter, length, rotational speed, installed power, loading capacity of grinding medium, and processing capacity. For example, a small ball mill with a diameter of 900mm and a length of 1800mm may have a rotational speed of 36-38 r/min, a loading capacity of 1.5 tons of steel balls, and a processing capacity of 0.65-2 tons per hour.
Materials enter the first chamber of the small ball mill evenly through the hollow shaft at the feeding end. Inside the first chamber, there are liners (such as ladder liners or corrugated liners) and different specifications of steel balls. When the cylinder rotates, the centrifugal force generated brings the steel balls to a certain height and then they fall down, having a heavy impact and grinding effect on the materials.
After the materials achieve rough grinding in the first chamber, they enter the second chamber through the single-layer partition board. The second chamber is also lined with a flat liner and contains steel balls for further grinding of the materials. Finally, the finely ground powder material is discharged through the discharging grate to complete the grinding process.
