As a type of compression crusher, it operates by applying continuous pressure to materials between a concave bowl and a mantle, gradually reducing them to the desired size. 1. Structural Components
- Mantle and Concave Bowl: The mantle (moving part) is mounted on a vertical shaft, while the concave bowl (fixed part) forms the crushing chamber. Both are lined with wear-resistant materials (e.g., manganese steel) to withstand high-impact operations.
2. Spider and Main Shaft: The spider supports the main shaft, which drives the mantle's eccentric motion. This design ensures uniform crushing force distribution.

2. Working Principle
The mantle rotates eccentrically within the concave bowl, creating a cyclic crushing action:
Material enters the top of the crusher and falls between the mantle and bowl.
As the mantle moves toward the bowl, compression crushes the material.
When the mantle moves away, the crushed material falls through the discharge opening.
This continuous cycle ensures high throughput and minimal fines generation, making it ideal for producing cubical-shaped aggregates.
