The crawler type mobile impact crusher plant is an integrated, self-propelled crushing system mounted on a heavy-duty rubber track chassis, combining feeding, crushing, screening, and conveying functions in one unit . Unlike stationary crushing plants or tire-mounted models, it excels in rough, off-road conditions (slopes up to 25°) and narrow job sites, eliminating the need for concrete foundations or complex site preparation . Equipped with a European-style impact crusher as the core unit, it delivers high crushing efficiency (40-300 TPH) and uniform particle sizes (5-60 mm) for medium-hard materials, making it a game-changer for on-site processing .

Components of Crawler Mobile Impact Crusher Plant

1.Crushing Unit
The impact crusher itself consists of a rotor, which rotates at high speed. The rotor is equipped with hammers or blow bars. When the material enters the crushing chamber, it is hit by the rotating hammers and crushed by the impact against the breaker plates.

2.Feeding System
There is usually a vibrating feeder that controls the flow of materials into the crusher. The feeder can adjust the feeding speed according to the required production capacity and the characteristics of the materials.

3.Discharge System
A conveyor belt is attached to the crusher to transport the crushed materials to the desired location. The length and angle of the conveyor can often be adjusted to suit different work - site layouts.

4.Crawler Chassis

Working principle

The process starts with the raw material being fed into the heavy-duty vibrating feeder.

1. Feeding: The feeder removes fines via a grizzly bar to bypass the crusher, increasing efficiency.
2. Crushing: The material enters the impact crusher chamber, where high-speed blow bars strike the rock, hurling it against impact plates for secondary breakage.
3. Screening: The crushed material is transported to the integrated vibrating screen.
4. Recirculation/Discharge: Oversized materials are returned to the crusher via a closed-circuit system, while the qualified final products are stockpiled by the discharge conveyors.
